Launch Site: Frankenmuth

A new floating, handicap-accessible canoe and kayak launch was dedicated June 30 on the Cass River in Heritage Park.  The launch cost approximately $60,000 with grant money coming from The Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund, the Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network and local donors. 

The Frankenmuth launch site is the first in a series that will ultimately make up the Cass River Water Trail.
